About
My name is Ron Benshoshan and I am an industrial designer. My focus is on furniture, home styling products and what I like to call "salutionative design".I've been in the field for the past two years in which I let my curiosity lead me to experiment with interior design as well. I believe design has no boundaries and can not be contained, it's everywhere. I am an entrepreneur, designer, developer, and overall thinker that loves every second of it. I conducted my studies at the Avni Institute of Art and Design in Tel Aviv, Israel. My projects have been displayed in various design blogs, domestic and international which you can check out on the press page. I was born in Canada but currently live in Tel aviv, Israel where I have lived most of my life. Feel free to contact me, I'm always interested in new opportunities and interesting design ventures. The apartment is located in Tel Aviv, Israel and was my first major project. The place was in dire straights and need a complete make over.It's a standard 65 square meter apartment built in the 70's. We wanted to obtain a contemporary yet functional design that's good looking and comfortable. The budget was limited, time frame was short and everything need to be replaced. The budget limitation led me to an interesting direction consisting of hand crafting and building most of the items featured in this project. The duration of the project was approximately two months. In order to emphasize the radical change the apartment went through, I took the liberty of arranging the pictures in a "before&after" order. The shots speak for themselves. Enjoy.
